Hello everyone! Today is Multicultural Children’s Book Day! What is that, you ask? Let me tell you.
Multicultural Children’s Book Day is a non-profit children’s literacy initiative that was founded by Valarie Budayr and Mia Wenjen; two diverse book-loving moms who saw a need to shine the spotlight on all of the multicultural books and authors on the market while also working to get those book into the hands of young readers and educators.
Seven years in, MCBD’s mission is to raise awareness of the ongoing need to include kids’ books that celebrate diversity in homes and school bookshelves continues.
In addition to the awesome link-up that you will find on the bottom of this page, our co-founders, Valarie Budayr and Mia Wenjen, are hosting a twitter party with lots of gifts! Want to see the questions first? Jump over to Mia’s page for all of the details.

To ensure that we can reach the winners, we ask that everyone to please register for our Multicultural Children’s Book Day Twitter Party here.
But back to the amazing link up! Check out all of these amazing books and add any of your own reviews.
Thank you so much for hosting Multicultural Children’s Book Day since the beginning! We so appreciate your support!
