Read this book! I am not surprised at all that @authorlisafipps is a Junior Library Guild selection and has starred reviews from Kirkus and Booklist. This beautiful book in verse moved me and got so much right about the burden of not being thin in our society. There is also a huge message to parents to watch what they say to and near their kids. We should love ourselves for who we are, not how much we weigh. As someone with food issues, I long for the day when my mind stays quiet about food and weight. Tips also makes a number of important points about bullying and standing by letting it happen. 5 stars for this wonderful book coming out 3/9/21 from #nancypaulsenbooks
